Rhodes will begin his new role on May 4, overseeing finance, operations, security and compliance, technology, and human resources functions across both the Rochester and Buffalo campus centers.

In this newly created position, Rhodes will also serve as a member of the senior leadership team at Golisano Institute and will help implement a services model that furthers the institute’s mission of building economic opportunities for students throughout Western New York.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to join Golisano Institute at such an exciting time,” said Rhodes. “As the institute expands into Buffalo, I look forward to helping build strong operational foundations that support students across both campuses and create environments where they can thrive and succeed as the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders.”

Rhodes brings extensive experience in higher education operations, most recently serving as associate vice president of facilities at Monroe Community College, where he managed multi-campus infrastructure, led capital planning and construction initiatives, collaborated closely with cross-functional teams, and oversaw significant operating and capital budgets. His background also includes leadership roles at the University of Rochester and the Rochester Institute of Technology, with a focus on planning and project management.

Quent Rhodes’ successful track record of leading high-performing services organizations will surely extend when he joins the institute.
