Ian Mortimer, president of Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship, and Graham Anthony, the institute’s assistant vice president for education technologies and innovation, were interviewed by Natalie Kucko for News 8 WROC’s Investing in America, a series celebrating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America.
From the story:
“As we look at the Spirit of America and celebrate our 250th anniversary, News 8 is showcasing how communities and companies are “Investing in America.”
In 2023, philanthropist Tom Golisano wanted to introduce an affordable, two-year education opportunity in business. The nonprofit is now building out its second campus in Buffalo.
As News 8’s Natalie Kucko learned, their mission is founded on collaboration. So far, school leaders say it’s proving to be a successful one.
Last year, Brighton’s Golisano Institute welcomed its first graduates. In a traditional world of four-year business degrees, students are earning their credentials in half the time and with a fraction of the price tag.”
