Kristina Cardamone

Associate Director of Admissions & Financial Assistance,
Youth Programming Lead

With 18 years of experience as a school counselor, Kristina has built a career of working with students and helping them to reach their goals, both professionally and personally. She brings that joy for her work to Golisano Institute, where she’ll be here for students and help cultivate an environment where every student can succeed. Kristina previously served as a school counselor at Penfield and Fairport high schools in Greater Rochester. Of the core values that define Golisano Institute, she says the one that guides her most is “caring” because educational environments are best built around making personal connections. “That’s how you build a culture with a supportive environment. When you show that you genuinely care for the well-being of others, every aspect of the educational experience will fall into place naturally.” Kristina lives in Penfield, N.Y., with her husband and two kids.
