We require a copy of a student’s High School transcript, or high school equivalency certificate. If a student has taken college courses, or holds a college degree, we will also ask for a copy of that transcript to be submitted.

Students are expected to document any work experience that they have had in the past or currently hold.

We do not require any standardized test scores for students to be considered within the admissions process.

The introductory statement allows students to document, in 250 words or less, their personal and professional goals, as well as their motivations for applying to Golisano Institute.

We require an admissions interview for every applicant as a vital part of the admissions process. It provides a deeper understanding of the applicant’s character and aspirations, helping us find the best fit for the student in their personal and professional journey.

Over the course of our academic program, you will earn the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), a sought-after credential valued by thousands of businesses across the country and transferrable for college credit.  Through the National Career Readiness program, you will be able to see your growth over time in the areas of applied math, graphic literacy and workplace document comprehension, leading to the NCRC credential. To get you started on earning your certificate and support scheduling of your business math courses for the first quarter, it is important that you take the applied math component at the Institute prior to the start of classes. The Applied Math assessment measures critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and problem solving techniques for situations that actually occur in today’s workplace.
