The Rochester-based Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship is partnering with Daemen University to offer its two-year certificate program graduates the option to pursue a bachelor’s degree at Daemen.
Daemen will offer transfer students from Golisano a 35% tuition discount in addition to any state and federal aid they may be eligible to receive, the schools announced.
The partnership allows Golisano graduates to transfer up to 69 credits earned there toward a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and 43 credits toward a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Daemen’s Alfiero School of Business.
“The agreement underscores both institutions’ commitment to fostering educational excellence and preparing students for successful careers in business and accounting,” said Lisa Rafalson, founding dean of Daemen’s College of Health, Human Sciences and Business.
The agreement with Daemen brings Golisano Institute’s number of higher education partners to four. The school also partners with Syracuse University College of Professional Studies, Roberts Wesleyan University and SUNY – Alfred State to offer students a path toward a bachelor’s degree.
