Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship has launched an AI certificate program to better equip students with integrated artificial intelligence and business skills.
The program, which is now open for registration, will be one year in duration. The first classes convene in September.
The advanced certificate will cost $8,900 for full-time learning and includes 48 credits completed through the institute. Syracuse University, a Golisano Institute higher education partner, will provide four micro-credentialed courses within the AI program curriculum.
Students will be taught in the new AI Innovation Hub, with core courses covering topics such as data systems, applied AI, business analytics, entrepreneurship and career development.
“As AI continues to reshape the business world and drive innovation, Golisano Institute is committed to bridging the gap between technical expertise and business applications,” Ian Mortimer, president of the school, said in a news release. “Our new AI & Business program is a response to the rise in demand for AI-related skills and will empower students to apply this transformative technology in real-world business settings — offering them a quick and affordable path to success.”
The program is in addition to the institute’s two-year professional certificate program in Business & Entrepreneurship, which provides students with an accelerated, non-traditional business education at $8,900 per year.
Students enrolled in the AI program will have full access to the school’s campus center, as well as professional development resources.
The Golisano Institute website has more information, as well as a link to the application process.
