Cathy Caiazza

Dr. Caterina Caiazza

Assistant Vice President for Career & Personal Development

Helping students navigate their educational decisions has been Caterina’s professional calling for more than a decade. She’s also learned how to anticipate the needs of students as they look toward life after graduation. Caterina understands that, while there will always be challenges in life, you never have to be stuck. She believes there’s always a different approach, a fresh lesson, or a new perspective. An expert at working with people one on one to build their job-search skills, Caterina most recently helped lead the University of Rochester Career Center. Before that, she worked in admissions at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Caterina is thrilled to get to work with students here and watch them pursue—and achieve—their goals. If you’re out and about in Rochester, you may run into Caterina enjoying the area’s cultural highlights, from shows at the Rochester Auditorium Theater to dining out at her favorite restaurants (all of which she says are “fabulous!”).
