With over 20 years’ experience in higher education, healthcare, and technology, including national and global brands, Heather has built a reputation as a trusted business partner. Along with her spirit of collaboration, she brings exceptional skills in strategic, effective marketing to Golisano Institute. Heather’s previously held leadership and advisory positions at Jay Advertising, Rochester Regional Health, Partners + Napier. Of the core values Golisano Institute holds dear, “caring” is the one that speaks most to Heather. “Caring is so important. When you’re a part of a truly nurturing environment, everyone is valued. Every voice is heard,” She says. Heather’s excited to help bringing students’ stories to life at the school as they evolve during their time here. “After meeting Tom Golisano and hearing his vision, I couldn’t wait to join the Institute!” she says. “I’m so fortunate to be part of an effort to give back to our community in such a powerful way.” A mother of two, Heather lives in Penfield, N.Y.

What is your favorite feature of Rochester?
Being so close to so many lakes is my favorite part about living here.
What inspires you?
My family inspires me. From an early age, my grandfather, an entrepreneur himself, had a huge impact on my life, and instilled a strong work ethic in me.
