Bright Spot: First Impressions at Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship
June 4, 2024
Golisano Institute’s on-campus Clothing Closet helps students dress and feel their best, at no cost. Now, with a generous donation from the family of Rochester-based suit manufacturer, Hickey Freeman, students can choose from high quality suit jackets that will help them shine. “My hope is that when a student puts a jacket on, they feel successful and proud, and they go in with confidence — because that was my dad,” said Ippoliti’s daughter, Susan Kavanagh.
Graduating students, in addition to a broad selection of donated attire, will be presented with a custom blazer featuring the embroidered motto of Tom Golisano, “Built, not born,” crafted by Adrian Jules, the esteemed suit maker from the Rochester region.
