Here for Western New York

On Thursday, Oct. 16, we announced plans to open a second campus center in Buffalo, New York. The location in the former Buffalo News building on Washington Street joins our flagship in Rochester, New York. The new site will expand the reach of our transformative business education to people across Western New York. We look forward to welcoming our first students to the Buffalo school in fall 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

The FAQ below addresses many common questions about the opening of the Buffalo campus center. These will be updated as more information becomes available about our new location.
Fall 2026
The Professional Certificate in Business & Entrepreneurship, Advanced Certificate in AI & Business, and Certificate in AI & Business will be offered.
Now
Ultimately, there will be a separate admissions team in Buffalo, but now, our Rochester admissions team will work with Buffalo students.
We anticipate a portion of the Buffalo Campus Center will be open for guests in March 2026. However, we encourage all prospective students to visit the Rochester Campus Center given the identical curriculums and similar Campus Center services.
Yes. If a student wants to take some academic quarters in Buffalo, and others in Rochester, they can do that as long as they are progressing in their work.
Yes. Internships and other work experiences should not be viewed as Campus Center location specific.
Yes and No. The majority of the faculty will have their home base in either Buffalo or Rochester but some faculty will go back and forth depending on the course.
Yes. This is a signature part of Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship Experience.
On-campus or other housing options are not currently available through Golisano Institute in Buffalo.

Yes. The partner network will further expand with Buffalo companies, start-ups, and other employers.
Niagara University, Daemen University, and St. Bonaventure University are currently the three Buffalo region degree partnerships. However, there are other partners throughout Western New York.
