A digital designer, motion graphics artist, and video editor with 15+ years of experience, Eric honed his skills at award-winning ad agencies like Partners + Napier and The Martin Group as well as national and global brands like Wegmans and Xerox. The value he most admires at Golisano Institute is perseverance, because, he says, obstacles are a constant when you’re striving to improve or create something new. He’s up for the challenge. Eric is excited to meet new students at the Institute and hear their stories—and their dreams for the future. What are you most proud of accomplishing professionally?
In the digital world, as technology changes, I have had to re-invent myself several times by learning new skills and taking on new challenges.
Who was your favorite teacher and why?
My favorite teacher was Mr. Rosko, my high school art teacher, because he encouraged my interest in the arts and showed me the possibilities of a career using my design skills.
What inspires you?
Seeing my four kids accomplish new things—at school, in sports, with their friends, etc., inspires me to keep learning and challenging myself.
