Joint-degree partners
The universities and colleges that partner with Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship offer students a unique pathway into higher education after graduation. These curated opportunities allow graduates to translate Golisano Institute’s certificate programs into credits at leading institutions while significantly reducing the cost of undergraduate and graduate degrees. In addition to our nine joint-degree partners, all our programs are fully endorsed by the American Council of Education (ACE), which means you could potentially transfer up to 96 credits into a traditional college or university degree.
Golisano Institute graduates will be awarded 60 credits towards advanced academic credentialing at Alfred State College within the college’s Bachelor of Technology in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Tuition at Alfred State College will be $295 per credit hour, and accepted students are eligible to participate in all sponsored financial aid, grants, assistantships, and scholarship programs customarily open to transfer students.
Golisano Institute graduates will be awarded 71 credits towards advanced academic credentialing at Alfred University.
Golisano Institute graduates admitted to Daemen University can receive up to 69 credits toward advanced academic credentialing.
Daemen University will offer transfer students from the Golisano Institute a 35% tuition discount. Students may also be eligible for scholarships and federal and state financial aid.
Golisano Institute graduates can pursue a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree if they already hold a bachelor’s degree. Eligible students will receive a 20% tuition discount for graduate programs in the School of Business and Leadership, or a $15‑per‑credit‑hour discount for graduate programs in the School of Education. The $55 application fee will be waived for all applicants from Golisano Institute.
Golisano Institute graduates admitted to Niagara University can receive up to 66 credits toward advanced academic credentialing. For liberal arts, discipline tracks can incorporate programs within the College of Arts and Sciences, including options such as Environmental Studies, Psychology and Social Work.
Golisano Institute graduates will be provided with a 50% tuition reduction on the Niagara University rate for full-time study.
Golisano Institute graduates will be awarded up to 72 credits towards advanced academic credentialing at Roberts Wesleyan University.
Golisano Institute graduates will be awarded 66 credits towards advanced academic credentialing at St. Bonaventure University.
St. Bonaventure University will offer transfer students from the Golisano Institute a $22,000 scholarship per year. Students may also be eligible for scholarships and federal and state financial aid.
Golisano Institute graduates will be awarded up to 61 credits towards advanced academic credentialing at Alfred University.
Golisano Institute graduates admitted to Syracuse University’s College of Professional Studies online undergraduate program will receive an Accelerated Leaders grant. The grant provides a 38 percent tuition reduction of the Syracuse University part-time per credit rate for the academic year in which the student is admitted. Under the Accelerated Leaders grant, tuition will be $450 per credit hour.
