An accomplished lineup of speakers—Tim Tebow, Lindy Ruff, Chuck Mauro, Adrian Wojnarowski, and Mitch Nusbaum—took our students on a deep dive into the trends reshaping sports management today, from conglomerate team ownership and the power of apparel brands to the impact of in-game analytics and online gambling.
Tebow is the founder of the Tim Tebow Foundation, a college football analyst for ESPN, best-selling author, and a former quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). Ruff is the current head coach of the Buffalo Sabres. Mauro is the senior global director of brand strategy and creative at New Balance. Nusbaum serves as legal counsel for Manchester United and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tim Tebow visits Rochester for Golisano Sports Symposium
Former NFL Quarterback Tim Tebow was one of the guest speakers at the Sports Symposium — an event held by the Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship. Tebow was one of many leaders in the sports industry to give an inside look at how value is created and leveraged, from career decisions to brand partnerships.
